From Standards to Success: Expansion, Sectionalism, and Reconstruction
Continuing the instructional planning process introduced in the foundational EOCEP training, this training focuses on USHC Standard 2. Teachers will examine the standard’s key turning points, align content and skill development to DOK levels, and use PLDs to differentiate assessment tasks. The training supports the creation of inquiry-driven lessons and EOCEP-style questions that help students understand how federalism, expansion, and civil war shaped national identity. Final products will contribute to a shared library of EOCEP-aligned instructional tools.
