Integrating Natural History to Engage Students, Series II

This ETV LEARN course for 20 renewal credits, the second in the series, is also designed to assist educators on all grade levels, in all subject areas with integrating Natural History into their curriculum. Learn more about nature with Rudy Mancke, renowned South Carolina naturalist and excellent teacher, as Series II continues our adventure to explore nature, which can be the “golden thread” that engages students in learning! Students from kindergarten through higher grades are curious about the world around them and we can grow their interest by helping them read the clues and make valuable connections to the natural world. Congruent with Series I, this course also increases our own knowledge and appreciation of the world around us as Rudy shares fun facts and engaging content about insects, snakes, skulls and bones, plus more! In addition, we are inspired by Rudy as a teacher, an excellent role model, who engages us as learners.

(It is recommended but not required that participants complete the Integrating Natural History to Engage Students, Series I course prior to taking this second course.)

(Recommended for teachers of all grade levels and subjects.)
